This has been a different road for me, modelling can either be fun, or a pain in the ass, depends on a lot of things. But your personal choices dictate your happiness, and of course, the wonderful gifted photographers you work with, most of the time.
I though, stand for and believe, that you can still model after kids.. It's all about mind set, and some hard work mind you... lol... Nothing in this life, if it's worth it is easy...Mainly, if you can choose your work, you are guaranteed to have the fun you deserve, and get the results that you desired / expected.
I have really just got back into modelling after a years break.
